Everything was really good, including amicable staff and favourable location to nearby sights a couple of good restaurants nearby. Stayed there for new year and had a such wonderful experience, so I would happily go back again...

This hotel is a hidden gem! the location is perfect - very near the centre and close to most places of interest. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And thirdly, the rooms were tastefully decorated with a funny and unique high ceiling that added character. We loved the attention to detail! The breakfast every morning was also a delight, with a range of traditional products to choose from. All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money, service, basic amenities, and rooms for couples with double beds.

magione del re in catania was a delightful surprise. the luxurious interior, comfy bed, and beautiful ceiling were exceptional. the staff was helpful and professional, making check-in/out a breeze. the location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and nearby restaurants.

I had a great stay at this hotel! its location is superb. It's just a short walk away from Via Etnea, a lively shopping street with plenty of restaurants. This made it really convenient for me to explore the city and try out different trattorias. Secondly, the staff was amazing. They provided excellent service and were very attentive to my needs. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a couple like me. I especially loved the high ceiling that was decorated in a fun and unique way. On top of all this, the breakfast included traditional products, which was a delightful start to my day.

The noise insulation in the rooms was poor, which made it difficult to sleep due to noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. the neighborhood was not very safe, and many areas were littered with trash and traffic was chaotic.

My stay at Magione Del Re was absolutely wonderful. The location of the hotel was perfect - close to all the major historical attractions of Catania, yet situated on a quiet and green street. I had no trouble getting to and from the airport using the Alibus. The rooms were beautifully decorated with high ceilings adorned with ornaments and old-style tiles on the floor. Despite the old charm of the building, everything inside the room was modern and new. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the different types of pillows available. The room also had a safe deposit box, tea/coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge stocked with beverages. The bathroom was clean and provided good toiletries. Breakfast, served in a lovely breakfast room, consisted of fresh and delicious bakery items, good coffee, and fresh fruits. The overall atmosphere of the property was quiet, pleasant, and secure. The hosts were friendly and caring, adding to the positive experience. The value for money at Magione Del Re was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.
